Week 4 – Robots and Lava

No two days are the same, and perhaps this is especially true of Extended Day.  Each day has a different grouping of children and with each different group comes a different dynamic.  As October approaches it is true to say that our regular attendees, whether they are with us for one day or four, have been able to adapt to these changing rhythms and find ways to join with others, inside the studios, in the playground, on out on the sculpture park.

This week we added to our robot play with some new magnets and fidget toys….

A small group on Tuesday was able to play and explore in the park…

In the playground children balanced on rocks and equipment to avoid the lava, laughed together and disappeared down drains.

IT IS A HAPPY TALENT TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY –
