Application, Tuition, Financial Aid, Parent Handbook
We are currently full. We are enrolling now for the 2021-2022 school year.
We welcome your visit!
The November 7th open house begins the enrollment process for the following school year.
Tours with the Director are also available on Friday afternoons.
Visitor Safety Restrictions
Due to COVID protocols, the Open House is intended for one parent or guardian this year. Children and their adults are welcome to visit the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum and trails surrounding LNS during the Open House. All visitors to the school’s campus will have their temperature taken and will complete a COVID checklist. The Open House and all Friday tours are held outdoors when the school is closed.
Children may join their parent(s)/guardian(s) on the Friday tours. The tour will be a walk-through of one studio and the outdoor spaces. We ask that adults hold their child’s hand in the studios and refrain from touching any materials. The director will talk with you about LNS’s educational philosophy, your interests, and answer questions at both the Open House and on Friday tours.
The LNS Parent Handbook
CLICK HERE to download the LNS Parent Handbook. By reading the Parent Handbook, you will find out what it means to be a part of the LNS community. It contains our philosophy, policies, enrollment tuition and fees, daily life of the school, communication, as well as details regarding the LNS organization, including its board and committee descriptions.
Lincoln Nursery School uses a rolling admissions process. All children enrolled in the school and siblings of current and returning families are given priority for placement.
Enrolling during COVID
The enrollment process this year will look different from the past as we need to follow COVID protocols. The steps for the 2021-2022 school year include submitting your child’s application on our website (see below for both new student and sibling application), visiting the school during the Open House or a Friday tour (as outlined above), and having a conversation with the school’s director. This year children are not required to visit the school for observation. Returning families with siblings will be contacted directly and offered a conversation with the school’s director.
New Student Application (see below for application)
The New Student Application form (below) must be submitted to initiate the enrollment process.

Aid is awarded based on tax returns and financial needs as determined jointly by the treasurer, president, and the enrollment chairperson. Any request for assistance-and its awarding-will be held in the strictest confidence.
Financial Aid Application Process
Financial aid applications for alumni and new families should be submitted with your application or when the need arises. Financial aid awards apply to the core program tuition not for extended day programming.
