Application Process

Lincoln Nursery School uses a rolling admissions process.  All children enrolled in the school and siblings of current and returning families are given priority for placement.

Enrollment for 2022-2023

The steps for the 2022-2023 school year include submitting your child’s application on our website (see below for both new student and sibling applications), visiting the school with your child during the Open House or a scheduled tour, and having a conversation with the school’s director. The director will talk with you about the school’s educational philosophy, your interests, and answer any questions you may have. Returning families with new siblings to LNS should attend the Open House with your child or schedule a visit with the director.

New Student Application (see below for application)

The New Student Application form (below) must be submitted to initiate the enrollment process.

Sibling Application

The New Student Application form (below) and fee should be submitted in November.

Lincoln Nursery School does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status. Financial aid is available.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is provided through our annual budget. The goal of financial aid is to make LNS accessible to families by providing assistance when financial resources are limited. We are not able to offer full scholarship to any student.

Aid is awarded based on tax returns and financial needs as determined jointly by the treasurer, president, and the enrollment chairperson. Any request for assistance-and its awarding-will be held in the strictest confidence.

Financial Aid Application Process

Financial aid applications for alumni and new families should be submitted with your application or when the need arises. Financial aid awards apply to the core program tuition not for extended day programming.
