Wednesday: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Afternoon Program

The Afternoon Program provides children with continuity in the comfortable, nurturing, setting of their studios. It offers a chance to slow down, rest, and recharge before continuing the day at a more relaxed pace.

Children have time for lunch, rest, sleep, or quiet activities, depending on their individual needs. After this quiet period, the afternoon unfolds through unhurried indoor and outdoor play, with materials and experiences offered in response to the children’s interests.

Schedule: 12:30 – 4:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 12:00 – 4:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Enrollment: Families may select the afternoons that best meet their needs.

Please note: There is no afternoon programming on the first Wednesday of each month, when LNS faculty meet for their monthly meeting.

Studio Groupings

Studio groupings, including age ranges and class composition, are determined annually based on enrollment and the needs of the children and program.
