We have come to love the Pine Tree Forest. It has become a place of play and research. Recently, the museum has challenged us to think of this space in a different way. Instead of games of chase, war and families we have shifted our focus.

"How can we make art in this space?"

"How can we transform the materials found in this space?"

"How can we think about line and design?"​​

I used what’s around me! One time I made a little house for a mouse with sticks.  CHESTER

I make a fairy house with only what’s around me in my backyard.  BIRDIE

Once I was hiding outside and there was a little corner and someone left a little box and I put leaves in it and dirt and it rained and it turned to real soup!  JANE

I’m looking for these long, large pine cones.  Birdie

I used the crack to make mud.  The mud is the sticky stuff.  Jane
