Put fingers and thumbs over eyes so you have owl eyes:

As they sat in the old oak tree. spread arms and fingers up highThen switch to crows going Caw! Caw! while flapping arms
Then cats going Meow! Meow! while holding up fingers for ears.
Eventually we may find other things up into the tree and also see what the children come up with. Could be cows or dinosaurs!
