Miss Mary Mack

I also love the Nadine Bernard-Westcott book of this.
Sometimes I use the following movements with this one (seated):

alternate crossing straight legs one over the other
Miss Mary Mack Mack Mack
All dressed in black, black, black
With silver buttons, buttons, buttons
All down her back, back, back.

alternate crossing straight arms one over the other
She asked her mother, mother, mother cross arms
For 50 cents, cents, cents
To see the elephant, elephant, elephant
Jump over the fence, fence, fence.

cross both arms & legs together
He jumped so high, high, high
He touched the sky, sky, sky
And didn’t come back, back, back
‘Til the 4th of July, ly, ly!

(An alternate ending:)
He jumped so low, low, low,
And stubbed his toe, toe, toe,
And that’s the end, end, end,
Of the elephant show, show, show.
