Adventures on Airplanes

Over the last several weeks, there have been many conversations about traveling to various places and modes of transportation. Some of these places include, Turkey, Greece, Africa, Grand Cayman, California, Florida and New Hampshire.  During the afternoon, the children have been engaged in building roads, airports, runways and control towers.

Marky This is a big ramp for the planes. My plane parks over here until it’s time to take off. This is how you go up and fly really high. The flying police have to catch someone.

Thomas  A plane is going too fast. Catch this one! It’s going too fast! This is the landing spot. Land Control! Land Control! Mines going down. In an airport there are escalators to make you see other levels.

After a long journey on an airplane, different lands are explored!

Charlie uses tape to map out the airport roads and runways. Weston and Kaya use construction vehicles to build hangers and buildings. Wesley carefully attaches tape to a block to build a hill in the road.

This is an airport with a control tower! There is a road here to follow and a place to park your car there.
