This puddle never ends

Violet viewed the puddle as a swamp, Avery a river and Case an ocean but they all had one thing in mind – How to engineer a crossing.

A deeper puddle in the playground created another challenge.

We don’t want anyone to get water in their boots.  We’re emptying the puddle. Violet
I found a mystery.  It’s white.  Oh, it’s a wet napkin. Parker
It’s so deep.  We don’t want any water in it ‘cos it’s icy underneath. Case
(Shoveling water through the fence) I’m trying to give it back to Mommy and Daddy. Avery
I’m pushing it back onto the wood chips.  Addie
This puddle never ends.  It is so so long. Parker
