Look at this – it’s twisting.

On leaving the museum Elliott spotted George Rickey’s Three Lines.

Elliott – Look at this – it’s twisting.  
Alice – How do you think it is moving?
Elliott – I think the snow is pushing it.
Addie – Me too.
Alex – I think the elevator is moving it.  (The sculpture is visible from and adjacent to the museum’s elevator.)

When the snow melts and the sculpture continues to move will Alex’ s idea of the elevator controlling the sculpture be the solution to how it is moving?  Will other ideas surface?  Visiting this sculpture in different weather conditions may be the answer to this question.
