Children are constantly working to gain an understanding of where they belong.    They wonder …  Am I the biggest in my family? I live in Lincoln – do you?  You were in Studio Blue – like me.  We went to Sarah Bishop’s.

This week Avery put a unique spin on working with the colored geometric shapes.  It seemed Avery was just patterning with the blocks however on closer listening Avery was actually making meaning of her environment – her LNS environment.,

All these little yellow squares are us – my classmates.
The orange is Studio Red.
The purple circles are Studio Purple.
The blue squares is Studio Blue.
