Bird, Clipboards, Summer Books, Oh My!

Dear Studio Blue,
How exciting it is to have your bird, your clipboard and your summer book back at home with you! You have had all kinds of ideas about how to use them. Here are some.

Arlo immediately read his bird his summer book…

…and built it a home out of magnatiles.

Now the bird is in a lego home, and his name is Hawk.

(We later found out that the bird’s home is next to the ice cream shop that serves pie!)

Cassie was so excited to see her bird! The first thing she did was make a bird’s nest with food in the yard. You can see sticks stuck in the side of the basket and the food on the bottom. She said the bird needed a baby and maybe Theo could be the bird’s baby.

Joe read through his summer book with his bird and Charlie looking on.

Cassie later made a house for her bird and fed it her almonds, one of which became an egg for it to sit on!

Jemima’s bird has been ‘poorly’ and sleeping under the cushion in the pram pretty much since it arrived at her home.

While we met with Jemima, she drew a map like the map that Diane had showed us.

It has been wheeled around back and forth to the doctors!

Jemima’s map has her house, Diane’s house, and Mark’s house.

William’s bird did many things around the house!

And here’s what Vivian did with her bird!
