This is the Nadine Bernard Westcott version, if you’ve seen her book. She also has great versions of Miss Mary Mack and Down By the Bay (and others).
It’s a story about a boy whose parents drive off to market and he’s left with all the farm animals, who take over the house and have a party with him. Here are the verses:

Flies in the sugar bowl, Shoo fly, shoo!
Cats in the buttermilk, two by two.
Pigs in the parlor, what’ll I do?
Cows in the kitchen, moo, cow, moo!
Roosters in the pantry, cock a doodle do!
Sheep in the bathtub, hullabaloo!
