A small group helps solve a problem.

This week we share a learning story that documents small group work. We thought this documentation could give insight into both our growing fiber installation as well as the ways our small groups serve to extend whole group projects. This small group was brought together to solve a problem Ruby named one afternoon. The following day, when the group of three gathered and learned they would be revisiting the fiber work, Ruby quickly volunteered her question once more. Sometimes overlooked, problem-posing is as important as problem-solving. Posing this question, Ruby invited the group to solve a problem, to encounter challenge, to collaborate, to practice familiar tools and learn new ones.
