We don’t know what card is missing…

During group time, we tried a new game. Three cards from the Face Game were placed on the rug. We then covered the cards up with a cloth. When we removed the cloth, only two cards were left for the children to see. One card was hidden in the cloth.

??????

Which card is missing?

We don’t know what card is missing…

Cal: The new one. The white new one. Actually the green new one.

Will: And it’s in there.

Ruthie: It’s a person picture.

Thomas: And it’s putting its hands like this.

Caroline: And it’s putting its feet like this.

Ruthie: And it’s putting its hand like this.

Caroline: And it’s saying STOP!

Ruthie: And it’s holding something in its hand.

Cal: Emily (from the museum) knows it!

We reveal the missing card…

Will: That one!

Ok, we’re going to do it again…

Will: Maybe that one (will be) missing. Maybe that one right there (will be) missing.

Will has a prediction. Will thinks maybe that one right there will be missing. Let’s see…

Will: I (pre)dicted that. I…I this one left! I (pre)dicted that! It’s the one I (pre)dicted!

The one that you thought… The one that you predicted….

Kyla: The white one.

Ruthie: Yes the white one.

Kyla: The white one that stands up and has a square and it stands up by itself.

Cal: I know! It’s a sculpture. It’s a person sculpture.

Will: And it’s in Studio Blue somewhere.

Ok. Shall we take it out and find out?

YES!
