Application Process

An open house takes place in the fall for all families interested in learning about the school. Applications for placement the following fall may be submitted, along with a non-refundable application fee, at the time of the open house or during the open enrollment period, which closes mid-December. Applications may also be downloaded here. Applications received after mid-December will be considered on a space-available basis.

As part of the enrollment process, parents are requested to observe a classroom for a short period of time and to meet with the director. All children currently enrolled in the school and siblings of current or returning families (those who have enrolled a child in the past) are offered placement before new children are considered.

Lincoln Nursery School strives to balance age and gender in each classroom. LNS does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status. Financial aid is available.

Applications may be submitted up to one year in advance of when your child will enter school. We currently have openings for 3 and 4 year olds for the 2008-2009 school year.
